Neil Craven

Neil joined Montfort in May 2023 having spent more than two decades in the top echelons of the City’s news industry and becoming one of the country’s most experienced business journalists.

He began his career at Drapers Record (the UK Fashion Industry’s Bible) followed by Retail Week, one of the country’s most revered trade magazines. He subsequently moved to City newswire Bloomberg and later to the Mail on Sunday where his knack for building relationships in the business community and finding exclusive news stories quickly made an impact.

His contributions across the newspaper and his work on hard-hitting investigations ultimately led to him being promoted to Business Editor in late 2021. He now brings his extensive experience in the media and broad understanding of business and markets to Montfort where he works with teams across the organisation.
