London, 15th September 2022: Montfort Communications has been appointed by LeapFrog Investments, the Profit with Purpose investment firm, as their communications adviser to support the firm’s next stage of its impressive growth trajectory.
The team, led by Founding Partner Gay Collins, and including Toto Reissland-Burghart, Jack Roddan and Anita Paradzayi, will work closely with LeapFrog Investments to support them in enhancing their brand and highlighting their compelling vision and unique approach to identifying and growing companies that deliver critical essential services to emerging consumers.
Launched in 2007, LeapFrog invests in exceptional businesses in Asian and African growth markets – enabling growth, profitability, and impact. The group’s current portfolio of companies reaches 342 million people within financial services and healthcare, across 30 countries. A total of 250 million of these people are emerging consumers, with most of them accessing formal insurance, savings, pensions, credit, remittances, or healthcare for the first time.
Gay Collins, Founding Partner at Montfort Communications, said:
“As a pioneer as well as a leader in impact investing, LeapFrog is an exciting brand that will complement the work we do in sustainability. LeapFrog combines profit with purpose through investing in some of the most exciting healthcare and financial services companies across growth markets in Asia and Africa, and we are thrilled to have been chosen to tell that story more widely and to promote their value proposition to LeapFrog’s investor base, potential portfolio companies, and their wider stakeholders.”
Daniel Stacey, Global Head of External Affairs at LeapFrog Investments, said:
“As we grow our investor base and raise our profile further, it was critical that we appointed an effective partner with the most deep and relevant credentials to execute our communications strategy. Montfort’s expertise across impact investment, asset management, and private equity communications advisory will play an important part as we to continue to build on the LeapFrog proposition.”
